about us.

“The Pangrati Project” is a group of young people made up of artists, students and young families. The effort started by the Pangrati Church, and our purpose is to identify and serve the needs of our area.

Our vision is to be community, that strives for a cultural renewal through art and service, in our city and through it the rest of Athens.

This initiative is supported by the Church of Pangrati, as well as the "Polis – Athens City Initiatives" network.

about
pangrati

pangrati.

Pangrati is a multi-cultural, richly diverse neighborhood of downtown Athens and one of the most artistic, youth-driven areas of the city. It's the home to several museums, theaters, artists, college students and young families.

We believe that Pangrati offers the right cultural dynamics for a new way of approaching our city and the needs of its residents, offering community, joy and hope through art and service.

community space.

Our community space is located at the corner of 'Spyrou Mercouri 18' and 'Douridos 2' in Pagrati.

Our goal is to make this space a place where everyone can feel safe to express their creativity and discuss things that interest them. A safe community for young people, families and artists.

It functions as a reading space/workspace and library. We offer free educational programs for students and families with young children, as well as creative programs for artists.
